Getting started
Wissenstifter helps your organization capture the knowledge in people's heads, structure it through AI-assisted interviews, and make it searchable for everyone. This guide walks you through signing in and finding your way around.
Signing in
- Open wissenstifter.ai.
- On the welcome screen, enter your work email and select Continue. Wissenstifter uses your email domain to find the right tenant for you.
- After your tenant has been found, you are taken to the sign-in page. Authenticate there with your usual company credentials.
- After signing in you land on Interview plans, your home base.
TIP
If you are already signed in, Wissenstifter skips the welcome screen and takes you straight in. If your work email domain is not linked to a tenant yet, you'll see a "not found" message; contact your administrator.
Finding your way around
The sidebar on the left is your main navigation:
| Item | What it's for |
|---|---|
| Interview plans | Create and manage interviews you are preparing. See Interview plans. |
| Start interview | Open the interview experience (used when conducting a session). See Conducting interviews. |
| Knowledge documents | Review, edit, and approve the summaries produced from interviews. A red dot appears when a document is waiting for your review. See Knowledge documents. |
| Chat | Ask Wissy, the AI assistant, anything about your organization's knowledge base. See Chat with Wissy. |
| Groups | Manage who you collaborate with and what they can do. See Groups & roles. |
Your account menu sits at the bottom of the sidebar, with a Logout option and a notification dot when a group action needs your attention.
A typical workflow
- Plan an interview: describe it, upload any background documents, choose topics and key questions, and generate an interview guideline.
- Conduct it: share a secure link and passcode so the interviewee can answer in an AI-supported conversation with Wissy.
- Review the result: the answers are turned into a structured knowledge document that you edit, then Approve & Publish.
- Reuse it: once published, the knowledge becomes searchable in Chat for members of the group it belongs to.
