Groups & roles
Groups organize who you collaborate with and what they can do. Every interview plan belongs to a group, so groups are how access to interviews and their knowledge documents is shared across your team.
Open Groups from the sidebar. You'll see two sections:
- My groups — groups you're a member of.
- Tenant groups — other groups in your organization that you can request to join.
Roles
Within a group, members hold one or more roles that determine what they can do:
| Role | What it means |
|---|---|
| Planner | Can create and prepare interview plans for the group. |
| Admin | Manages the group — its members, their roles, and the group itself. |
| Member | Belongs to the group and can access its shared content. |
Working with groups
- Create a group to start a new collaboration space.
- Edit a group to rename it.
- Delete a group you no longer need (admins only).
- Members opens the member list for a group.
- Join requests membership of a tenant group; an admin approves it.
Managing members
In a group's member list, admins can:
- Add members — search for existing people in your organization, or invite someone by email. External invitations must use an allowed email domain.
- Assign one or more roles when adding someone.
- Remove a member from the group.
Invitations and requests
Group activity that needs your attention shows up as a notification dot on the sidebar. Depending on your role you may see:
- My invites — invitations to join a group, which you can accept or decline.
- My requests — join requests you've sent, with their status (pending, accepted, declined, cancelled); you can cancel a pending request.
- Join requests — for admins, requests from others to join your group, which you can accept or decline.
